Direct placement vs. temporary staffing

We work exclusively in direct placement – not temporary staffing. The difference matters, and for a long-term staffing need, direct placement is usually the better answer:

  • Who the employer is: with direct placement, the worker joins your company’s own staff; with temporary staffing, they remain the agency’s employee and are only hired out to you.
  • Cost: direct placement means a one-off placement fee, after which you pay only the worker’s own wage; temporary staffing means an ongoing hourly mark-up for as long as the worker is with you.
  • Commitment and retention: your own employee becomes part of the team and stays for the long term; a temporary worker’s position is, by nature, short-term.
  • When to use which: temporary staffing suits short, seasonal peaks; for a lasting labour shortage, direct placement is the solution.

Our support doesn’t end with the placement: if you need it, we help your workers settle in and support their day-to-day work for their entire stay in Hungary. We have also written a detailed comparison in a separate article – Temporary staffing or direct placement? »
